Growing Eden is a concept brand designed for young urban professionals (aged between 25-40) who have a passion for sustainability, plants, and interior design. The brand fits into the luxury lifestyle category. We chose to showcase this brand as we want to show clients our luxury, sleek interior design capabilities.
Growing Eden is a concept brand designed for young urban professionals (aged between 25-40) who have a passion for sustainability, plants, and interior design. The brand fits into the luxury lifestyle category. We chose to showcase this brand as we want to show clients our luxury, sleek interior design capabilities.
This site involved the use of Out of the Sandbox’s Flex theme. We used this theme because we wanted to create a luxury premium feel to the site, that would accurately reflect the brand. To create this luxe feel, we used a series of CSS customisations, which we combined with strong visual imagery. We used a mega menu central navigation system which was coupled with product images to increase conversion. The site also used breadcrumbs on the product pages, product filtering (price high to low etc.), collection filters to enhance the User Experience (UX). To create a luxe feel to the site, we used enhanced product pages. These pages via the use of images and texts gave in-depth product information in an aesthetically pleasing, brand building way, to do so we used a series of meta-fields that we created. It should also be noted that all the content that as created on this site was created in accordance with best practise Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) principles. To give the pre-shot images a consistent and uniform feel to the brand vision, we used Adobe Photoshop to perform background removal and image resizing and alignment. Product images were then placed on a uniform cream background to create a luxe seamless feel to the site. We also used a series of pre-shot lifestyle images – which were edited using Adobe Lightroom – to get a consistent lighting effect.

Our graphic design team created a branded package of vector illustrations for the site. We created a central logo which contained blue font with a simple green leaf. The leaf motif was a core part of the brand and was expanded on to create bordered patterns for product descriptions as well as banner images. To amplify the luxe theme our team decided to stick to a deep rich blue and green colour palette, coupled with an earthy cream to balance it out. We also created a series of animated GIF’s, showcasing the brands lifestyle images.
